Multiple research reports are confirming that probiotics have the ability to reduce stress while boosting memory.
A recent study analyzed 22 men for a month on probiotics and then off of probiotics. While on probiotics, the men were less anxious while their ability to memorize was enhanced, as tested by number, color, and spacial orientation. The stress hormone, cortisol, was also reduced. When given a placebo, the feelings of emotional stress were increased and memory recognition was reduced.
