FAQ

How DairyCare Works
  1. Lactase Enzyme: Each DairyCare capsule contains a powerful dose of lactase, the enzyme your body needs to break down lactose (the sugar in milk). If you're lactose intolerant, your body doesn't produce enough lactase on its own, which is where DairyCare comes in!
  2. Targeted Delivery: Our patented enteric coating protects the lactase enzyme as it travels through your stomach. This ensures that the lactase reaches your intestines, where it can effectively break down lactose and prevent uncomfortable symptoms.
  3. Probiotic Power: DairyCare also contains probiotics, beneficial bacteria that support a healthy gut microbiome. Probiotics can help improve digestion, boost your immune system, and contribute to overall well-being.

In short, DairyCare provides a comprehensive approach to managing lactose intolerance. It not only helps you digest dairy comfortably but also supports long-term gut health.

What are the ingredients of DairyCare?

DairyCare contains active lactobacillus cultures, a minimum of 10 billion CFUG of lactase enzyme. 30mg of hypromellose, microcrystalline cellulose, rice flour, magnesium stearate, silicon dioxide, gelatin gum and water.

DairyCare does NOT contain the inactive ingredient maltodextrin. In order to extend the shelf life of other brands of products, maltodextrin is added to certain formulas. DairyCare does not use maltodextrin nor do we need it. Maltodextrin can cause harmful side effects. There are no side effects of taking DairyCare. The active ingredient in DairyCare has been used in foods within the United States for over 100 years.

If you purchase DairyCare in stores or have extra bottles in your house, rest assured that the probiotic, Lactobacillus, is active as it has a shelf life of two years without preservatives.

DairyCare is also approved by the FDA. It meets the necessary requirements as per the FDA for Digestive Supplements and could not be sold if it were not approved.

Is DairyCare a probiotic or Lactose Intolerance pill?

First and foremost, DairyCare is a probiotic consisting of Lactobacillus gg probiotic.  It is this probiotic (found naturally in the body) which is capable of producing all of the benefits discussed here. So, improvement in bowel habits, tolerance of dairy foods and liquids, immune system improvement, etc. all stem from the properties contained within the probiotic of DairyCare. The additional benefits of this probiotic came from the proprietary formulation of DairyCare, itself, whereby it has a two-year shelf life, works immediately with one dosage daily and does not require refrigeration, to name just a few.

What is lactose intolerance?

Lactose intolerance is a dietary problem that occurs from a lack of the enzyme lactase, which is normally produced by cells located in the small intestine. When the production of this enzyme is low, the common sugar known as lactose cannot be broken down within the intestine, thus resulting in multiple unpleasant symptoms such as upset stomach, diarrhea, indigestion, flatulence, and/or nauseousness.

Lactose intolerance is an intermittent yet recurring global issue that affects people from all walks of life. It can develop randomly or be acquired through genetic means by way of cell adaptation, typically as we grow older and our bodies decrease lactase enzyme production. Lactose intolerance can also commonly occur in patients pre-diagnosed with irritable bowel syndrome, diverticulosis, and/or inflammatory bowel disease.

Is DairyCare gluten free? Recommended for those with Celiac Disease?

Yes, DairyCare contains zero gluten, the protein that effects celiac patients.

Celiac disease associates with lactose intolerance. A high prevalence of celiac disease was observed in patients with a positive H2-lactose breath test (diagnostic test for lactose intolerance) compared to healthy controls. In these subjects, lactase deficiency seems to be the only manifestation of Celiac Disease.

We suggest serologic screening for celiac disease in all patients with a positive H2-lactose breath test before beginning a milk-exclusion diet.
